Bartha Contemporary is delighted to announce an exhibition of recent wood carvings by London artist Sasha Holzer. Please join us for the private view on Thursday, 23.2.23, from 6 to 8 PM.
The exhibition continues until March 11th.

Sasha Holzer (b. 1959, UK) carefully carved wooden panels showcase a profound knowledge of the materials' properties. Light is reflected at different angles on the carvings' shallow relief, revealing the wood's multifaceted grains. Patterns emerge organically, sometimes through a domino effect. These highly geometric works are born from a very intuitive physical relationship with the material and the carving tools.
