Alan Johnston’s lecture takes place on 24 January 2017, 5-7pm at the Wilson Road Lecture Theatre, Camberwell College of Arts.

Alan Johnston is one of the leading British geometric abstract artists of his generation, with a career which spans 40 years. Known for his large-scale architectural interventions and wall drawings including collaborations with architects in Basel, Edinburgh, Tokyo and Hiroshima. In 2013, he was commissioned to create a large ceiling drawing as part of the refurbishment of Tate Britain.

The lecture is curated by Daniel Sturgis, Reader in Painting and Programme Director of BA Fine Art at Camberwell.
